This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Ocho is an adorable puppy with so much love to give and is ready to become part of a very special (and active!) family. He has been around kids from 2-8 and did well with them, although he was a little timid initially. He loves other pups and would most likely be fine with cats, too. Last Hope Animal Rescue’s Mission is to save as many homeless, abused, abandoned, hard to place and neglected animals that we can and then place as many animals as possible into loving, forever homes where they will be cherished. Ocho loves to play and run around, so his perfect home is with an active human or doggie sibling. He hasn't mastered leash walking yet but is a fast learner. He is working on house training but is not quite there yet so should be taken out frequently, especially while he's adjusting to a new environment.

Ocho is crate trained and tends to whine for a few minutes but settles quickly. This smart boy already knows commands like sit", "kennel" and "come. Ocho is still working on normal puppy behaviors like chewing (watch out slippers and shoes!) This boy has plenty of energy to burn as well, so Ocho would do best with a family that can dedicate the time, structured training, and plenty of exercise he needs to grow up into the best possible version of himself. We don’t discriminate on the basis of age, pre-existing medical conditions, or breed. We are dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and/or abused dogs from high-kill shelters throughout the United States. He's also gained great experience as a WFH buddy while in foster care and is eager to apply his skills to a new, permanent position. Last Hope K9 Rescue (LHK9) is a 501 (c) (3), 100 volunteer run, foster based, all breed rescue. Ocho can be a bit shy at first but comes around quickly he is a total lovebug who lights up when he's with his people. Last Hope K9s mission is to rescue dogs from kill shelters and place them with a permanent home or find fosters willing to open their homes and hearts.
